Keep devices funded for activity and storage, with spending limits you control.
Two balances, each with a different job
Device activity funds pay for update results and health reports. Storage funds pay for software and device-data uploads. Your personal account balance is separate until you approve a deposit.
Deposits are prepaid network funds, not a SuiFleet subscription purchase. Every funding action asks for approval. Saving Fleet settings does not make a deposit here.

Technical fee calculations
From controlled network measurements rescaled to 100 MIST gas (Mainnet reference gas price (recorded), 2026-10-23 21:22 UTC): a status receipt costs about 0.005283232 SUI net. Walrus 57389 FROST per MiB-epoch and 104316 FROST per MiB written (Mainnet Walrus epoch 42 (recorded), 2026-10-23 21:22 UTC). An estimate, not a quote: the wallet shows each transaction's actual cost. Prepaid Walrus storage is not configured for this build (no fleet_storage package).
